Developer Terms of Use

These terms of use apply to you if you plan on modifying or extending a Casper Gaming resource in some way. If you are using unmodified Casper Gaming resources, please instead follow the general Terms of Use. Some resources may come with additional terms that are more restrictive than below, in which case those terms take precedence.

Private Use
Private Use is considered use for only your own project, or when commissioned to make a modification for someone else's project where the commission result will only be used privately in projects by the commissioning entity. Basically, this is your use case if not distributing to the public. In this case, there are no restrictions on what you can do with Casper Gaming resources as long as the general Terms of Use are followed once they make it into your game and any additional terms of use a resource comes with are followed. In the case of commissions, both you and the person being commissioned must own a copy of the resource.

Public Use
Public Use is considered the case when you distribute any modifications or extensions you have made to Casper Gaming resources via a public channel, such as a forum, itch.io, or other website where anyone can download it.

This type of modification is generally not allowed. You may not post modifications of Casper Gaming resources for public use, either free or paid.

Public Use restrictions do not apply to small snippets intended to provide support to users of a Casper Gaming plugin posted as a response in the main Casper Gaming forum topic or to a support request thread. Please reach out to Casper Gaming via Discord if you wish to be granted an exception for public use modification distribution.
