Getting StartedTo start with, set up the numerical values of the various BGMs that can play during battle in your game in the Music Values parameter. Then, set the Music Variable to a game variable.

In your damage formulas, you can check if that variable is equal to the number you set (or otherwise use the variable value) in which case you know that the battle BGM currently playing is that BGM. You can access variables in damage formulas by using v[x] in your damage formula, where x is the variable id (do not include leading 0s).

Plugin CommandsThis plugin does not use any plugin commands.

Saved GamesThis plugin is fully compatible with saved games. This means you can:

✓ Add this plugin to a saved game and it will work as expected.
✓ Change any plugin params and changes will be reflected in saved games.
✓ Remove the plugin with no issue to save data.

Filename

The filename for this plugin MUST remain CGMZ_MusicalBattles.js. This is what it comes as when downloaded. The filename is used to load parameters and execute plugin commands. If you change it, things will begin behaving incorrectly and your game will probably crash. Please do not rename the js file.
